AI Integration Framework for the Tagliatela College of Engineering

Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping engineering and applied science practice. As a college, we have both the opportunity and responsibility to ensure that our graduates are prepared to engage AI tools thoughtfully, ethically, and professionally. The framework described in this document (PDF) outlines a structured and phased approach to integrating AI literacy across our programs while preserving the core values of engineering judgment, disciplinary depth, and academic integrity. This document is intended as a foundation for discussion and coordinated implementation. Programs retain disciplinary authority over how AI tools are incorporated within their curricula, consistent with college-wide learning objectives.
