About Richard
Dr. Highfield was professor of finance at the University of New Haven from 2008 to 2018, and served as dean of the College of Business from 2008-2011. Prior to coming to New Haven, he was a professor of economics at St. John's University Peter J. Tobin College of Business, where he also served as dean (2003-2007). He was dean of the business school at the University at Albany (SUNY) from 1999 to 2003.
