About Ramesh
I am basically a Differential Geometer and occasionally apply differential geometry to the realm of General Theory of Relativity. In the past, my research was focused on the Riemannian geometry of complex and contact spaces, and also on space-time solutions of Einstein’s field equations with or without symmetries. My current research explores the geometry of spaces with specified differential structures and symmetry vector fields. So far, I have co-authored two research monographs published by Springer Nature, and co-edited a proceedings volume published by American Mathematical Society. In addition, I have published over 120 articles (independently as well as jointly, including student co-authors) in refereed national and international journals (some of them in very reputed journals) and conference proceedings. Aside from this, I have delivered more than 60 talks (some of them were invited) at national and international conferences and academic institutions. Furthermore, I have chaired and served on the scientific advisory committees of some national and international conferences and workshops.
I was a Fulbright Lecturer at Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (India) during 2005. I love leaching traditional mathematics courses with immense enthusiasm and seek excellence in teaching by presenting the seemingly dull mathematical topics in interesting and appealing manners.
