About Nikki
My name is Nikki Gibbs, and I am a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Physician Associate
Studies program at the University of New Haven. I earned my Master of Physician Assistant
Studies from the University of Bridgeport in 2019. Over the past seven years, I have
practiced in surgical subspecialties including orthopedic surgery, urology, and plastic
surgery.
After several years in clinical practice, I discovered a passion for teaching and
mentoring students, which inspired my transition into academic medicine. I strive
to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel empowered
to ask questions, think critically, and grow into confident, compassionate Physician
Associates.
