About Moin
Dr. Moin Bhuiyan is an Associate Professor of Practice in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science at the University of New Haven, where he also serves as the Founding Director of the BioSignal-AI Lab. Since September 2023, he has additionally served as the MSEE Student Advisor and Coordinator.
Dr. Bhuiyan earned his B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh; his M.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), Canada; and his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Windsor, Canada. He further expanded his expertise through postdoctoral training at the Institute for Diagnostic Imaging Research (IDIR), affiliated with the University of Windsor, and conducted at MaRS Discovery District, Toronto, where he focused on translating advanced scientific concepts into practical, high-impact innovations.
