About Mohammed
Welcome to The University of New Haven Physician Associate Program!
I am a Clinical Assistant Professor and practicing physician associate with a clinical background in urgent care medicine. A native of Manchester, CT, I completed both my physician associate training and Doctor of Medical Science degree at The University of Tampa.
I bring a contemporary clinical perspective to physician associate education, with a strong interest in helping students bridge foundational medical knowledge with clinical reasoning, communication, and practical patient care. Through my work in urgent care, I evaluate and manage a broad range of acute illnesses and injuries across diverse patient populations. I value evidence-based medicine, professionalism, holistic care, and the importance of remaining curious and committed to lifelong learning.
I am excited to bring a fresh perspective to the classroom while continuing to grow alongside my students and colleagues. It is both an honor and a privilege to be involved in educating and mentoring the next generation of physician associates. I hope to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel challenged to think critically, develop confidence in their clinical abilities, and ultimately become thoughtful, compassionate, and well-rounded clinicians. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the growth of this PA program and to help shape a culture centered on collaboration, academic excellence, and student success.
Outside of medicine and academia, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and maintaining strong connections to my Connecticut community.
