About Michael
Michael Clark is an expert in security, public corruption, white-collar crime, and money laundering. A 23-year veteran of the FBI, he was a special agent who conducted and managed complex white-collar crime investigations involving fraud, financial crimes, and corruption.
He supervised the FBI’s Special Operation's Group at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah, and was an instructor on financial crimes and ethics in law enforcement at the International Law Enforcement Academy in Budapest, Hungary.
Professor Clark has earned numerous awards and commendations including the United State's Attorney Award for Investigative Excellence.
After retiring from the FBI, Professor Clark was manager of investigations and security for Otis Elevator, a division of United Technologies Corporation. Since 2013, he has been vice president of Executive Investigations Group, a private investigation firm specializing in comprehensive due diligence on prospective senior-level employees.
His research interests include public corruption investigations, advanced investigative techniques, interviewing, and interrogation. He speaks regularly to the media on white-collar crime, security issues, and fraud and has been featured on Fox News, Legal News, WFSB-TV, and WNPR.
Professor Clark is a members of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI, the FBI Agents Association, ASIS International, and the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences.
He received an M.A. in education from Seton Hall University and a B.A. in English from Rowan University.
