About Don

Don Fridshal received his Ph.D. in Mathematical Statistics from the University of Connecticut, He was at the University of New Haven from 1987 to 1995 and was Chair of the Department of Mathematics for 6 years. Prior to this he taught from 1971 to 1987 in the Department of Mathematics at California State University, Chico. His industrial experience includes two summers at the IBM Research Laboratory and two years working at United Technology's Research Laboratory. He had sabbaticals at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and UCLA and taught the summer of 1984 at Stanford University.
