Tuition, fees, and other student costs are established and approved by the University's Board of Governors for each academic year, beginning July 1 and ending June 30.
Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students who desire to withdraw from the University must complete and submit a University Withdrawal form (available online, or from the Center for Academic Success and Advising or University Office of the University Registrar) and notify each of their instructors. It is the student's obligation to complete this formal procedure. Failure to do so leaves the student liable for all of the current semester's tuition and fees and may result in grades of F being assigned in courses.
Graduate Students
Graduate students who want to withdraw from the University should contact the Center for Academic Success and Advising to discuss the withdrawal and make a preliminary evaluation of readmission possibilities. Once the decision in consultation with CSS is made, the student should complete the official University Withdrawal form and submit it to the Office of the University Registrar.

Before borrowing from a federal student loan program, students must complete Loan Entrance Counseling so the student is informed of their rights and responsibilities in being a student loan borrower. Loan Entrance Counseling for federal Direct student loans must be completed at the federal student loans website:
Loan Exit Counseling is a requirement for any student, who borrowed a federal Direct student loan, Stafford student loan, or federal Perkins loan that graduates, is no longer enrolled, or drops below a half-time status. Loan Exit Counseling for Direct loans or federal Stafford loans must be completed at the Federal Student Aid website:
The University of New Haven is the lender for the Perkins Loan. Repayment information will be forwarded to students from our loan servicer, ECSI.
